Private Eye has been the most notable mover in Saturday’s TAB Epsom Handicap at Randwick.
The Joe Pride-trained galloper was $13 when the barriers came out on Tuesday but since then, consistent support has seen him firm into $8 – putting him on the third line of betting behind Riodini ($5) and Mo’unga ($6.50).
Riodini is the most popular runner in terms of money held and was $5-$4.40 at one stage in betting before getting back out to its final field price ($5).
In the Heineken Metropolitan, Zeyrek’s price has been slashed now that the second emergency has gained a start in the field.
TAB went up $51 about the Team Hawkes runner on Tuesday but that is well and truly gone with $10 now on the table.
In the TAB Turnbull Stakes, punters have spoken and are siding with champion mare Verry Elleegant to get the better of Incentivise at Flemington.
Verry Elleegant is holding twice as much money as the Caulfield and Melbourne Cup favourite at this early stage.
