In the morning, i removed the spark plugs. Three were soaked with gazoline and the fourth was dry. When i crank the engine without sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline jump out but the 4th stays shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is in another place. I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car can start if the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is plugged in however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temp value that is -49c even after unplugging it. Also i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine. I'm not certain what to do, but i believe that i've completely ruled out all other possibilities. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Please let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA! 3. Fuel Pump The fuel pump in the g28 is activated by a signal by the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is the same as the G4 and both function in the 80, 100 200, UrS and RS2 cars so you can easily find one at a salvage yard or from a parts store. Test them out by putting your DMM in resistance mode and measure between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector end up) and 2 (2nd from the left on the black connector's side). They must be infinite ohms. 4.
