A Merchant Navy colt, secured by Wally Daly, topped the final day of the Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale at $160,000.
Offered by Amelia Park Racing and Breeding, the colt will join the training combination of father and son duo, Sean and Jake Casey.
Merchant Navy was the second foal of Bumbasina, who’s first foal, Amelia’s Jewel, is favourite for the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate (1200m).
Trained by Simon Miller, she is close to making her debut after an impressive Lark Hill trial win over 950m last Monday.

Playing God was the highest grossing stallion of Book 2, following on from his $330,000 colt being the sale topper from Book 1.
Across both days 271 lots were sold for an average of $68,871, median of $55,000 and a gross of $18,664,000, a significant lift on last year.
