The winning combination of Craig Williams and Enver Jusufovic will aim to continue their remarkable run at Caulfield this weekend.
Williams notched his first win of 2025 for Jusufovic aboard Mytemptation at Flemington last Saturday, extending his perfect record to six straight wins for the stable.
Now, the experienced jockey will look to stretch that streak to seven when he rides Mixxit in the $250,000 Country Mile Series Final.
Jusufovic’s stable has been operating at an impressive 26.4% strike rate this season, and Williams acknowledges how effective their pairing has been.
“EJ’s got a strong strike rate, so when you team up with him, you know you’re going to be in contention,” Williams said.
“I’ve been fortunate to get on the right horses at the right time, and a few of them have the potential to go a long way.”
Across 18 career rides for Jusufovic, Williams has won seven times, boasting a 38.9% success rate.
Other top-performing riders for the stable include Brian Park (31.9% from 19 rides), Ben Allen (18.4% from 152 rides), and Carleen Hefel (19.4% from 134 rides).
Williams and Mixxit, a four-year-old by Sioux Nation, will start from barrier 12 if all emergencies come out of the $250,000 Country Mile Series Final.
