Peter Moody may have the dominant favourite in the Caulfield Cup, but he will still have his eyes on The Everest on Saturday.
He has analysed the field and his complete 2021 The Everest tips are now available.
Winner – Nature Strip
I have always been a huge fan of Nature Strip and he will never have a better chance to win The Everest.
He is a tough, seasoned, strong sprinter that makes his own luck right on the speed and he isn’t going to get stuck in traffic like a few of the opposition.
Chris Waller is the master and he will have Nature Strip ready to peak.
2nd – Eduardo
Eduardo is the most underrated sprinter in the country and he will be right in the mix once again.
He beat Nature Strip fair and square in The Shorts and he is another tough horse that will make his own luck out the front.
3rd – Gytrash
Gytrash was the unlucky runner in The Shorts and he is sure to have taken great improvement from that performance.
I expect to see him settle behind Nature Strip and Eduardo in the early stages of the race and he will get the last crack at them.
4th – Classique Legend
Classique Legend was super last year, but it is hard to have him after all that travel and the bleeding attack.
This is as tough as it gets and it is difficult to see him being ready for this first-up.
He is still a classy horse though and you can expect to see him finding the line strongly.
